	Welcome to Temple Adat Elohim’s Social Action Center 2008 – 2009 Calendar   Tikkun Olam You are not required to complete the work, yet you are not allowed to desist from it. - Pirkei Avot, 2:21     Current Events "Winter Is Here"!  On December 2nd, we began offering food and shelter on a weekly basis to our area's most needy.  It takes an army of volunteers to make this happen!  To be involved in this meaningful mitzvah, contact socialaction@adatelohim.com.  We also need many items to run our shelter, so click here ... (Photos of Mitzvah Day) The mission of Temple Adat Elohim’s Social Action Committee is to encourage the education of and participation in understanding the local, national and global human need around us.  Whether the need is immediate or ongoing, our committee seeks to develop and perform meaningful programs and acts of tikkun olam which respond to those needs.
