Who Are We?
We are Women of Reform
Judaism (WRJ), the women of Temple Adat Elohim. TAE is in District #24! WRJ has
600 affiliates and 100,000 members worldwide! 211 members strong, Temple Adat
Elohim's Sisterhood is unified in an effort to provide religious, social and
community identity. We are looking to the future, building upon the principles
and ideas of the past. We are informed, experienced, energized, and strong. We
are committed to building a better community within Temple Adat Elohim and the

Do?
We offer a variety of
services and programs to Temple Adat Elohim, its members and their families,
the Temple Adat Elohim religious and pre-schools, youth groups and the
Community. We look to the future by planning our contributions based on
specific goals and needs of our
Sisterhood:

educational programs for the women of our congregation. |

Assists each Bar or Bat
Mitzvah family and presents a Kiddish cup, personally, to each Bar or Bat
Mitzvah child. |

Provides each Confirmand
with a gift |

Operates the Judaica Shop |

|
|
Funds a Campership
Scholarship program to help send a |

Sponsors a community
Passover Seder each year |

Sponsors the Annual

Sends delegates to WRJ (Women

Who Are Our Members?
Women, who are single,
married, with and without children, with and without grandchildren. We have large
and small families. We work, play, laugh and cry. We are in our early twenties
to early nineties. We live nearby and come from a great distance. We are you. We belong for many different
reasons, but have ONE common reason &endash; our commitment to Judaism.
What Are Our Goals?
Our goals are specifically
geared to address the needs of Temple Adat Elohim and our Jewish community,
large and small. We look to the youth of our
Ways to Earn Donor Credit:

Tribute Fund: $.75 donor
credit for each $2.00 Uniongram or Tribute card sent. |
|
|
|
Bar/Bat Mitzvah hostess:
$10.00 for Saturday morning or Havdalah Service. |
|
|
|
Judaica Shop: $3.50
credit for each selling hour and 10% credit on each item purchased. |
|
|
|
Stationery: 10% credit
given off all orders ~ invitations, business and personal stationery items,
etc. |
|
|
|
Credit for hours worked
on fundraising functions. |
|
|
|
Marsha Fayne Memorial
Campership contributions earn 100% credit. |
|
|
|
Credit for person
donations is given for 100% of amount donated, for example: profits from
projects that generate funds - Tupperware Parties, Art Classes, etc. |
